Hey everybody! Dan here again. During our recent trip to Gulf Shores State Park in Gulf Shores Alabama I took some time to talk about what we consider 5 must have RV accessories. RV’s these days come loaded with fantastic features and creature comforts. That being said there are always things you can do to improve your experience.  It may be protecting your unit with a surge protector, or adding a water pressure gauge.

RV Maintenance

Hey everybody! Dan here.  Care and maintenance of your recreational vehicle is an important step in maintaining the safety, dependability, and appearance of your trailer.  Additionally, following the factory recommended maintenance guide also enhances the re-sale value of your RV.

Dominator vs. Viper

Trish, our Parts Manager, explains the differences between the two popular sewer hoses:  Dominator ($59.39) and Viper ($89.99).  They both feature clear 90 degree angles that feed into your sewer fitting at the camp ground, making it easier to see when the clear water runs through.  That’s a great feature to have when trying to clean the black tank out!  There is a third sewer hose -not in the video- available on our shelves that would come in handy in a pinch (like if you had a nice one already at home, but somehow forgot to put it in your RV prior to leaving) called EZ Coupler sold at $39.99.

All of these sewer hoses will get the job done for you, but we can help you decide which one would better suit your needs when you call in or visit our Parts Department.  The wrong choice or improper connection can be the difference between clean hands or… not clean hands.
