I think tailgating for football games has to be one of my favorite fall past-times. It doesn’t matter if we’re cheering on the Colts, the Bears, or whomever (except the Patriots, gotta draw the line somewhere) it was always memorable. But what really makes the tailgating experience skyrocket is being able to bring our RV to the lot! Having all the amenities of home surrounded by thousands of screaming football fans is what dreams are made of. Not only do you have a place to dry off and stay warm on those cold, wet days but you tend to draw quite a crowd. I took my 2012 Coachmen Catalina to a Colts game recently and was the hit of the parking lot. With an attached outside grill and kitchen area I could keep food warm and drinks cold all day long.

Many of the parking lots or college campuses offer designated RV areas. Some of these even offer full hook-up! I can’t say I will miss standing in line for the porta-pot.
