then you’re old before you realize.

Don’t blink your eyes or you may miss
all the amazing things in store

As you get older you start to see
all the wonder you didn’t before

Too bad we can’t appreciate
our youth when we are young

How we think we have forever here.
how it’s over before its begun

How often we wish we could go back in time
to seize the opportunities we missed and regret
