We are honored that we can provide some assistance to the Animal Protection League for the 3rd year in a row through our May is Make a Difference Month campaign.  Since a percentage of all of our RV sales goes towards food, shelter, medicine, and supplies for these animals it is essentially the community coming together for this cause.  We encourage you to find more ways in which to help by visiting their website www.inapl.org.

Shelter Animals: How You Can Help

April 30th is “National Adopt a Shelter Animal” Day and while the recognition to the ever-growing over-population of animals dog shelter with logoand lack of responsibility is good it is worth noting that this is an everyday problem that all of our animal shelters face. Most of these animals would make wonderful pets and even better camping companions. Just imagine yourself sitting around the campfire with a loyal four legged friend! And while I may be a bit bias, experience has taught me that RVers and campers are some of the most caring and compassionate people out there. So if you have ever considered adopting a pet be sure to visit a shelter or a rescue. Even if you aren’t currently in the market for a new pet there are still ways that you can help. Most shelters are ran on a very strict/low budget so any financial donations are always greatly appreciated. They are also usually in need of supplies ranging from old blankets and newspapers to dog food and treats. Another big aspect of animal shelters is keeping the spirits up of these animals and getting them acclimated to being around people. Most shelters welcome volunteers to come and play with the cats or take the dogs for a walk. This is also an ideal way to teach your kids the importance of giving back to the community.

The Benefits of Buying From a Family Owned and Operated Business

We take pride in the fact that we are still a family owned and operated business in a world of mass produced, share holder owned family ownedbusinesses. Not only are we able to bring to you a high quality product at a great price but we are also able to meet each of our customers and get to know people on a personal level. Here are a few other reasons that we feel like being family owned is a benefit all around.

* We are able to work with our customers to get them the best price. We don’t have to answer to shareholders and fight for the bottom line. Having our own flexibility is what makes us unique from big business RV dealerships.
* We are committed to keeping your business. We know that many of you have grown to know and trust us and we value that. Our goal is not simply to sell you something and be done. We eliminate hidden fees and provide an excellent product in hopes you will tell your friends and family about us as well.
* Our employees are like family too. It’s amazing the difference between working in a corporate or big business environment where everyone is there to simply collect a pay check versus a family run environment where the employees all work together for the good of the customers and the business.
* We have hand picked the RV’s that we sell and stand behind the quality. We are knowledgeable on everything that we sell and are able to educate all of our staff as well. Being involved in all aspects of the business help us to understand how each piece of the puzzle fits together.
* We like what we do. When people (or entire businesses) are happy it shows. We are passionate about the RV lifestyle and even more passionate about sharing it with others. We maintain our goal of keeping our customers happy by delivering high quality, functional products with no hidden fees, upfront pricing, and a fun atmosphere. We hope you come and check out the family owned difference!

“May is Make a Difference” Partners and Their Amazing Work in the Community

With May being “Make a Difference” month at our dealership we thought we would share with you a little bit more information about logos with textour two charities that we have partnered with. We are collecting donations of food and clothing to benefit Westminster Community Center and a percentage of each RV sale will go towards these charities. Both of these organizations are so deserving and provide essential assistance and care to their communities.

The Animal Protection League is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Founded in 2003, their goal was to raise awareness concerning animal care and cruelty. Over the years, they have introduced programs educating the public on the humane treatment of animals, responsible care-giving and the importance of the human/animal connection; the reciprocal bond that exists between humans and animals. On April 1, 2011, The APL entered a partnership with the City of Anderson to manage the operations of its animal shelter. Using the resources available to them, their staff and volunteers strive every day to find loving and lifelong adopters for the homeless cats and dogs in the community.

Westminster Community Center, based right here in New Castle, IN, distributes food and clothing to more than 140 low income families a month from the Henry County area. It is their mission to assist those families in becoming self sufficient. They also teach basic life skills which will enable them to do for themselves-giving people a hand-up, not a hand-out.
