A Great First Trip of the Season

I know that it certainly doesn’t seem like it with this horrendous weather but camping season is right around the corner. And with that it’s time to plan your first adventure of the new season. And while there are many wonderful campgrounds around here (especially our very own here at Walnut Ridge) I would suggest heading a bit south for your first trip to try and stay a little warmer! One of the most highly praised RV campground that I would recommend as well is Bald Mountain Camping Resort in Hiawassee, Georgia.

Not only is the cities name fun to say but the campground offers a plethora of amenities such as an RV supply store, a personal escort to site, a dump station, cable services, DVD rentals, fishing supplies, laundry, paddle boats, showers, and so much more. With 300 total spaces and an average cost of only $35 a night this is equivalent to a resort on wheels! In addition to being clean and well cared for the campground offers fun for the entire family with a lake, a swimming pool, a game room, mini golf, and exciting planned activities.

So head on down to the Peach State and make your first exploration some fun in the sun!
