Introducing The Wandering Gants

How long have you been RVers?
We’ve been RVers since the middle 2000s, trying out a few pop-ups and even a teardrop. We moved into our Class A in early 2018 and have been RVing full-time ever since.

What got you into RVing?
We started RVing to get ourselves off the cold, hard ground. We became full-timers so we could travel the country even while still working.

What do you enjoy most about the locations you visit?
We love the awe and relaxation that nature inspires. We also enjoy learning about the history and culture of each new town we visit.

What are some adventures/ activities you do as a family while camping?
We like to explore – taking scenic drives and short hikes or walking around town and finding the best local restaurants. We love science and nature so, besides exploring outside, we enjoy finding good museums or visiting places like the Biosphere.

What are your pets likes & dislikes about camping? Their favorite activity?
We have three cats: Callie, Coyote, and Slinky. They’ve fully adjusted to life on the road and love sunning themselves on the large dash of our motorhome where they can watch the birds fly by. Their least favorite thing is definitely travel days.

Do you have any message you want to say to first time RVers like what you have learned about RVing or why you appreciate it so much?
To all the first time RVers, you’ll love the freedom – especially as full-timers! Keep in mind that RVing can be expensive or inexpensive – it all depends on how you go about it.
