Introducing the Holt & Marlin family

We are Bill & Sheria Holt from MURFREESBORO & DECHERD, TN.
How long have you been RVers?
5 years with our 5 kids & 3 grandkids.
What got you into RVing?
My memories and experiences from my younger years. I was trying to think of a way for us to travel and enjoy the outdoors.
What do you enjoy most about the locations you visit?
The views. That is really important to me. I’m always researching places to go that will fill this wish. Also have interesting places to explore.
What are some adventures/ activities you do as a family while camping?
My family loves to build a fire of course and do the s’mores thing. Sometimes we take hikes when we are close to some good waterfalls.
Do you have any message you want to say to first time RVers like what you have learned about RVing or why you appreciate it so much?
For all the first timers out there, I just want to say pack “light.” Don’t feel like you have to carry everything on your own. Set your RV up with the basics and just roll with it. Be nice and enjoy the camaraderie that a lot of us RVers have. Help each other when needed and respect the park rules.
