Campfire Strawberries S’mores

The perfect way to end dinner at the campground is with this elevated ~strawberry~ s’mores recipe. -Yes you heard that right! An amazing marriage of a classic camping dessert and a fruity strawberry fondue combi will leave you and your camping mates in a sticky wonderful bliss!

What You’ll Need:

  • Three 1.5-ounce milk chocolate bars, broken into pieces
  • 1 sleeve graham crackers, left in the sleeve
  • 1 quart strawberries, green tops removed, thoroughly dried
  • One 7-ounce container marshmallow crème

Here’s What To Do:

Gather the best sticks, logs, whatever you got and… BUILD A CAMPFIRE! Seems like a ‘duh’ right?

In a medium heatproof bowl or pot, place your chocolate and set near the fire so it’s melting but not scorching. (Psst chocolate can burn super easily so be careful!) Stir occasionally if needed.

Next, crumble up your graham crackers until they’re as fine as you can get them. To do this, massage them in their sleeve while avoiding puncturing them. Once finished, open the sleeve and place on a flat surface near the fire.

Finally it’s time to skewer your strawberries through the hull so it’s nice and firm then dip half the strawberry in the marshmellow creme. Place over the fire until golden brown (or if you’re like me, BURNT!) Once cooked to your liking, dip the uncovered half of the strawberry in chocolate and roll them in the graham cracker crumbs. Repeat with remaining strawberries and enjoy!
